Networking Opportunities

Make new friends, see old friends, and develop long standing relationships.  Many of our attendees return year after year, looking forward to seeing people they have met at previous events.

Networking is one of the principal values people get from attending conferences.  We have built into our program a number of networking opportunities.  The goal is to ensure there are numerous chances to share ideas, address challenges, get solutions from peers and interact with people who have been in the industry over 15-20 years, learning what works and what doesn't.

Tuesday, October 25th: Pink Drink, sponsored by Pink Elephant

On Tuesday night, we have a reception from 4:00 - 6:00 PM.  The reception will be held in the Windsor Cottage on the beach.  The only thing closer to the ocean is the life guard tower.  The opening reception is one of the best places to form new relationships and see old friends.  Plan to come early to register so you have lots of time at the Pink Drink.

Wednesday, October 26th: Networking Luncheon

Lunch will be held in the Carousel room.  This is a room in the Tower you see in all of the pictures of the Hotel del Coronado.  We will be in the lower level.

Wednesday October 26th: Cocktail Reception & Product Showcase

The reception will be held from 4:00 - 6:00 PM on the product showcase floor in the Grande Hall.  This is an opportunity to meet with the vendors who have come to educate us about what is up and coming in the industry.  This is an opportune time to speak with others you have met throughout the day and discuss ideas with the vendors.
 

Thursday October 27th: Mastermind Sessions and Breakfast

A favorite at our events are the Mastermind sessions on Thursday and Friday morning.  An expert on a specific topic will lead an active  discussion in an intimate session of 10 people for 50 minutes. The facilitators will bring material to share in the session and will also encourage active sharing by those at the table.  The goal is to learn from one another and make new contacts on a topic of common interest.  A continental breakfast is available at these sessions.

THE ZOO PROWL IS NOW SOLD OUT!!

At sunset, the Zoo is closed to the general public and the nocturnal animals that have been napping all day are waking. The Night Prowl Tour consists of a 40 minute guided tour where the only person with a flashlight is the guide who has plenty of insider information and entertaining anecdotes about the animals you will see.

There will be a presentation of exotic animals just prior to dinner. Mix and mingle with the Zoo’s own “Party Animals” and their keepers, in an informal setting where you may chat with the keepers, and take photos. A large variety of animals are available – mammals, birds, and reptiles. From the cutest little meerkat, to the awesome cheetah, depending who is available to play.

Friday October 28th: Mastermind Sessions and Breakfast
