Federal
Government Room Rate: We're very sorry but the Federal Government rooms
have already been
sold out. We have identified other hotels with Government room
rates of $129.00 per night which
are only a few minutes away. Another consideration you may enjoy, if
you are traveling with someone you know, is to share a room at the
Hotel del Coronado. The rooms are very conducive to
accommodating this
arrangement.
There are
two nearby hotels that are $129.00 or less that are within walking
distance of the hotel. There are a number of hotels in the
area that are a 5-10 minutes away in the desired price range.

San Diego airport, taking a taxi is your best bet if you are not

Extend
Your Stay: The hotel has generously extended the special room
rate if you would like to come in as early as Saturday the 22nd,
with the option to check out Sunday the 30th or any combination of
nights during the week of our conference. Many people are
coming in Monday night, playing during the day on Tuesday, attending
the reception on Tuesday from 4:00 - 6:00 PM, and leaving the
following Saturday morning.
You won't
want to leave early on Friday, with George Spalding wrapping up the
week with his energizing closing keynote. The conference ends
at 1:30 PM. That gives you a lot of time to experience San
Diego during the afternoon and see the city at night. Old Town
offers very good restaurants, horse drawn carriages, and places to
enjoy the nightlife.
The rooms
on weekends can be difficult to get, particularly at these
rates. Be sure to book early if you would like to extend your
stay because there are a limited number of these rooms available.
Things to Do: San Diego is home to many popular attractions and theme parks including SeaWorld, San Diego Zoo, Wild Animal Park, Old Town Trolley, LEGOLAND,
the San Diego Harbor Excursion,
and the USS Midway.
If Golf is your passion, the conveniently located
Coronado Golf Course is
just the tip of the iceberg in the San Diego area. There are over 80
courses available.
Meeting Rooms: Our primary meetings and Expo
will all be held in the Grand Hall. We have both the upper and
lower area. It was important to us to have the General
session, Expo Hall, and breakout session rooms in close vicinity of
one another. It increases networking opportunities by
affording more time together in the halls. It's also much
easier on the feet than having to walk around the hotel to find meeting rooms
and it's nice to have the time to casually find a good seat in the
next session.
Extra Special Meeting Arrangements: Pete
Killam, our contact at the hotel, has gone above and beyond
and has taken special consideration to make your experience
even more enjoyable by providing us with some of their best meeting
rooms. Our experience working with Pete and the staff thus far has been
superior. The customer service we have received from Pete and
the staff at the hotel has been exemplary. In our industry we
have a higher demand for great service and the Hotel del Coronado
has exceeded our expectations.
On Tuesday night, you will want to be sure and
arrive before 4:00 PM for the Pink Drink reception.
Pete has arranged for us to be in the Windsor Cottage. This is
one of the few rooms we have to walk any distance to reach.
You will have no regrets to make the short journey though because
the only thing closer to the ocean is the life guard tower.
The room has a deck where you can stand outside facing the ocean.
When inside you can stay out of any wind and view the ocean from
most directions through big plate glass windows.
Our certification courses will be held in adjacent
rooms. We have arranged for one of our three day
courses to be held in the Garden Room. This
room is primarily used for weddings and special receptions. It
is a beautiful room with windows looking out into the garden.
The continental breakfast and refreshments will be served in the
same room.
Wednesday lunch and the Thursday morning
Mastermind Sessions will be held in the Carousel room.
These are the only other walks you will need to make, but it is only
about 3-4 minutes from our session rooms. The hotel thought we
would like to meet here since it is right near the beach.
You simply go upstairs and
you are on the beach looking directly at the deep blue ocean.
