Beyond our dive-in movies, herb garden tours, and beachside marshmallow roasts lies a city that shines with attractions that span the cultural spectrum. At a mere 42 feet above water, San Diego offers some of the best travel and tourism attractions found on land. And at Loews Coronado Bay Resort, you're just a short drive away from the very best it has to offer. The resort is very private. There are shuttles running throughout the day to downtown Coronado. Room Rates: We have special room rates at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort and there are a limited number of rooms at this special rate. These rooms sell out quickly and you must book your room by September 5th to receive this rate. Please call their toll free reservation number at 800-815-6397 or their direct number at 619-424-4000 to make your reservation today. Be sure to reference the “Signature Event” to receive the special room rate of $199 per night. Government Attendees: Please reference “Signature Event Government Room Block” to receive the prevailing Government rate. All Government employees will be asked to show their Government ID when checking in at the Resort. Check in time for all attendees is 4:00 pm and check out time is 12:00 noon. At check-in you will have an opportunity to reconfirm your departure date. If you depart prior to the date you stated at the time of check-in, you will be assessed a $50 charge. (Note: Room rates are subject to all applicable city, county, state, or federal taxes that apply at time of room occupancy.) Transportation Transportation to and from Loews Coronado Bay Resort: The Resort is 12 miles from the San Diego International Airport and an average cab fare to the Resort is approximately $35.00 one way. If you have your personal vehicle or rent a car, parking at the Resort will be $19.00 per day and Valet parking is available for $25.00 per day. The Resort is only 5 miles from downtown Coronado and the Resort has a complimentary shuttle for their guests. Amenities & Guest Services: Surrounded by water, this resort offers three swimming pools, two spa tubs, three lighted tennis courts and access to Silver Strand State Beach via a private pedestrian underpass. The resort has the Sea Spa which is designed for the health-conscious traveler. Their fitness center features weight-training equipment, treadmills, elliptical machines, exercise bikes and personal training. Locker room facilities include steam, sauna and a beautiful relaxation room. Use of the fitness center is $10.00 per day. The resort includes an 80 slip private marina with docks. Guests can rent bicycles, roller blades and watercraft. Gondola rides through the nearby canals are available. The rooms in the Resort have high speed internet access available for a charge of $12.95 per day, plus any applicable taxes. The Resort Business Center is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Conference Registration: Sunday registration will be in the Lenore Foyer and Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday registration will be in the Commodore Foyer. Look for signage in the Lobby to assist you with your Conference registration and meeting room locations. The registration area is the hub of the conference and someone will always be there for you. Coronado Attractions: Coronado, CA is a small “island” town in San Diego Bay, approximately 7.4 square miles in size, connected to the City of San Diego by the San Diego-Coronado Bridge and to the City of Imperial Beach to the south by State Highway 75.
